2008 Meeting Program
We are pleased to present the preliminary program for the MESA 2008 annual meeting in Washington, DC. While the schedule is considered tentative, we do not anticipate many changes to it. Program scheduling took into consideration program balance (disciplines and geographic areas), audiovisual equipment requirements, space considerations (available meeting rooms at a given time and room set-ups). The Secretariat also attempted not to schedule for the last day anyone who participated on the last day of the MESA 2007 program. We realize that the last day of the meeting is not optimum for most and so we try not to schedule participants on the last day two years in a row. Please keep in mind that the MESA 2008 meeting will include 230+ panels in twelve sessions and thus conflicts in topics, disciplines, and geographic areas are ultimately unavoidable. Questions about the program may be directed to Mark Lowder at mlowder@u.arizona.edu.
